Another example: favourite Team B at decimal 1.80 = fractional 4/5 = American -125. On a ৳1,000 stake the return is ৳1,800 (৳800 profit). American minus odds show how much you need to stake to make ৳100 profit.
Cricket market example: In a limited-overs match there is usually no draw, so only a match winner bet is available. Team A 2.10, Team B 1.75 — if you put ৳1,000 on Team B and Team B wins, the return is ৳1,750 (৳750 profit); if Team A wins, ৳1,000 is lost. Bet slip — single and multi bets
As soon as you choose a selection, the bet slip opens. Enter your stake, check the return and confirm.

How a single bet works
When you choose a selection in a market, it is added to the bet slip. Enter the amount in the stake field — the potential return will show automatically below. In the example above, if Team A wins you get ৳3,000 back; if Team A does not win, the ৳1,000 stake is lost.
Multi bet or parlay
Adding multiple selections to the slip at once creates a multi bet. All the odds are multiplied together, so the return is larger — but if even one selection is wrong, the entire bet is lost. In the example on the left, the three selections give odds of 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.90 = 4.26. The potential return on a ৳100 stake is ৳426 — but if all three selections do not win, the full ৳100 is lost.
A multi bet offers the chance of a larger return, but the risk is also higher. Beginners are better off starting with single bets at a low stake to get a clear understanding of the process.
Betting exchange
At bigtaka Bet you can also bet on exchange markets. BACK means betting in favour of a result; LAY means betting against that result. Example: if you BACK Team A at decimal 2.00 with ৳500 — if Team A wins you profit ৳500 (before commission), if they do not win you lose ৳500. If you LAY, you profit ৳500 if Team A does not win, but if they do win you pay ৳500 (liability ৳500).
Placing bets on sports and casino games
